Do we bill your insurer directly?
Tap your plan. You'll see whether we bill it directly, whether it needs a physician's referral to reimburse, and what to bring. You never need a referral to book with us.
Coverage amounts, visit limits and referral rules are set by your plan and can change. We confirm coverage at your first visit; this is a guide. Demo content.

Answers before you book.
For questions about your own symptoms, book an assessment or call 403-555-0156 and ask for a practitioner.
Do I need a referral?
Not to book with us. Physiotherapists, chiropractors and massage therapists in Alberta are direct-access. Some extended health plans require a physician's referral before they reimburse; the direct-billing checker shows whether yours does.
Which insurers do you bill directly?
Most major extended health plans, including Alberta Blue Cross, Canada Life, Sun Life, Manulife, Green Shield, Medavie, Equitable Life, Desjardins, iA, Beneva and GroupHEALTH, plus Alberta motor vehicle accident claims and WCB Alberta. You pay only what your plan doesn't cover.
How long is a first appointment?
Physiotherapy initial assessments are 45 minutes, chiropractic initial visits 40 minutes, and pelvic health or vestibular assessments 60 minutes. Massage is booked by length: 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes.
Can I see a physio and a chiropractor at the same clinic?
Yes. With your consent, practitioners share notes so you don't repeat your history and the plan is coordinated. You decide who you see.
What if I'm injured in a car accident?
Alberta's automobile insurance protocols let you start physiotherapy or chiropractic treatment quickly after a collision without a referral. Bring your claim number and adjuster details; we handle the forms and bill the insurer directly.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reschedule or cancel free with 24 hours' notice by replying to your reminder or calling. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged at the posted fee, which insurers do not reimburse.
