Google Review Link and QR Code Generator

Paste your Google Place ID and get a link that opens the review box for your business, plus a QR code you can download or print for your counter, truck or invoices.

A Place ID usually starts with ChIJ. You can also paste a Google link that contains placeid= or place_id=, or the review link Google gives you in your Business Profile.

How to find your Place ID

  1. Open Google’s free Place ID finder on the Place IDs page of the Google Maps Platform docs.
  2. Type your business name in the search box on the map and choose it from the suggestions.
  3. Copy the Place ID shown under your business name and paste it above.

Manage the Business Profile yourself? Google also gives you a review link: open your Business Profile, select Read reviews, then Get more reviews, and copy the link. You can paste that link here to turn it into a QR code card.

Paste your Place ID and select Create my review link.

Nothing you enter is stored or sent to XMetaSol. The link and QR code are made in your browser, and your Place ID only goes to Google when someone opens the link.

Where to use your link

Add it to thank-you emails, text follow-ups, invoices and your email signature. Print the QR card for your front desk, service van or job folder.

Ask the right way

Google doesn’t allow rewards for reviews. Ask every customer for an honest opinion, the same way each time, and never only the ones you expect to be happy.

Before you print

Select Test the link and scan the QR code with your own phone. A Google account is needed to post a review, so people may be asked to sign in first.

Questions about review links

What is a Place ID?

It’s the code Google uses to identify one place on Google Maps. Google notes that a Place ID can change over time, for example after a move, so test your link again every so often.

Is this tool free?

Yes. There’s no charge, no sign-up and no limit. The QR code is yours to print and use as often as you like.

Does it work for service-area businesses?

Yes, as long as your business has a Google Business Profile. Service-area businesses that hide their address still have a Place ID and can use the Get more reviews link from their profile.

Do you store what I enter here?

No. Everything happens in your browser, and nothing is saved or sent to us.
