FAQ
Questions about the speed & SEO checker
Where do the scores come from?
The performance, SEO and accessibility scores and Core Web Vitals come from Google PageSpeed Insights, tested as a mobile visitor. The on-page checks are done by our server reading your page’s HTML.
Why is my score different each time?
Lab tests vary a little with network and server load. A change of a few points is normal. Look at the trend and the fixes rather than one number.
What is a good score?
90 or above is good, 50 to 89 needs improvement and below 50 is poor. Fast, well-structured pages are easier for visitors to use and for search engines to understand.
Does a higher score guarantee better rankings?
No. Speed and on-page SEO are only part of how Google ranks pages. Content, relevance and reviews matter too. The fixes here remove common technical problems.
Do you store the website I test?
No. The address is used to run the test and is not saved. We keep an anonymous 24-hour counter to limit scans to 3 per visitor per day.
Is there a limit on free scans?
Yes. Our free checkers are for fair use: up to 3 scans per day per visitor, shared across both tools. A quick security check helps keep bots out, and on very busy days we may pause new scans until the next day. If a scan fails on our side, it does not count toward your limit.
